Jul 08, 2009 Accommodating wide range of cartridge sizes, Cartridge Bubble Point Tester features deep sample chambers, detachable head attachments, and movable clamping heads. Wetting liquid is automatically added to sample chamber by inlet inside chamber. Rotating cartridge holder allows for even and equal testing on all sides of sample, and speed at which samples rotate can be adjusted by user. To prevent inhalation, ventilation fan constantly removes vapor of wetting liquid.

Feb 06, 2009 Nondestructive Fuel Cell Porometer provides fully automated through-pore analysis including pore-throat diameter, pore size distribution, mean flow pore diameter, and liquid and gas permeability. It handles temperatures of 200░C and in special cases up to 800░C, and compressive stress of up to 1,000 psi. Capable of measuring pore structure of each layer of multilayer composite, unit is designed to measure all relevant pore structure characteristics of fuel cell components.

Dec 16, 2008 Passing vapor through sample held in sample chamber, PMI capillary condensation flow porometer measures pore size by pressure at which vapor condenses into pores, and determines pore distribution from vapor flow rate due to small imposed pressure gradient. It measures pore diameter of nanopore samples without using any toxic materials or extreme pressures and temperatures. Unit is suited for characterization of porous membranes used in industries such as biotechnology and healthcare.

Aug 06, 2008 Used for characterization of porous materials used in industries such as biotech, pharmaceutical, food, and environment, PMI Compression Liquid Extrusion Porosimeter (LEP) keeps sample under compressive stress during measurement and produces no harmful effects on personnel or environment. Providing up to 1,000 psi compressive stress, unit also enables users to measure pore structure of same sample as a function of compressive stress without dismantling sample chamber.

Jul 09, 2008 By measuring gas flow rates through dry and wet sample as functions of differential gas pressure, Capillary Flow Porometer determines pore size, pore distribution, and gas permeability. Unit minimizes pressure drop and test duration, while requiring minimal operator involvement. It provides automated application of uniform pressure on O-rings, automated wetting of sample without test interruption, and automated compression of sample at desired pressure.

Jan 08, 2008 Automated Multipoint Simultaneous Pore Structure Analyzer is equipped with 2 flat parallel plates: top has straight through cylindrical holes to accommodate inverted cup shaped sample chambers and 2 in. dia samples, and bottom has through holes aligned with holes in top plate. There are 5 chambers over product width of 20 in., and system can have multiple test heads along width of sheet material. Recorded properties provide permanent record of roll's pore structure characteristics.

Mar 14, 2002 On-Line Multi-Chamber Porometer performs tests on filter media without need to cut out sample. It can determine bubble point, mean flow pore size, pore distribution and gas permeability, including Gurley and Frazier permeability. Filtration medium simply slides through sample chamber. Tests can be performed in less than 10 min on production floor, and tested material is not damaged in any way. Unit has Windows-based software.

Nov 27, 2001 Capillary Saturation Porometer determines pore volume and measures liquid permeability. For volume, sample is soaked in liquid that spontaneously fills pores. Pressure of non-reacting gas on top of sample is increased to displace liquid from pores, and pore volume, diameter, and volume distribution can be computed. To measure liquid permeability, pressure is increased, and permeability is computed from volume of liquid flowing out.
