Galvanometer/2D Scan Systems leverage digital encoder technology.

SCANLAB AG    Saint Charles, IL 60174
Sep 16, 2014 To offer maximum dynamic performance, single-axis dynAXISse galvanometer scanner units and intelliSCANse 2D scan systems leverage digital position detection approach that lowers moments of inertia of drives in high-precision semiconductor processing or micro-structuring. Digital se-encoder (SCANLAB encoder) uses zero-mass laser beam to sense stationary scale, eliminating need for additional inertia-increasing components while increasing reliability of micro-optical sensing.

Laser Scan Head marks contoured surfaces.

Nutfield Technology, Inc.    Windham, NH 03087
Feb 12, 2014 Featuring 3-axis design, Contour Galvanometer Laser Scan Head engraves wood, plastics, and metal by vaporizing material underneath scanner. Unit is also suitable for engraving glass because laser causes microscopic cracks and lifts cracked material off surface. While 2-axis laser scan head operates in X/Y plane for use on flat, 2-dimensional surfaces, Contour moves in third axis, thereby allowing it to engrave intricate markings on contoured dimensional surfaces.

Multi-Channel Potentiostat/Galvanostat has modular design.

AMETEK, Advanced Measurement Technology, Inc.    Oak Ridge, TN 37831-0895
Aug 19, 2013 Used for electrochemistry research and testing, PARSTAT MC offers hot-swappable channels that let researchers add or remove channel without interruption while running experiments. Channels can operate simultaneously, asynchronously, or in complex matrix of multiple electrodes in single-test environment, and chassis is configurable with up to 8 potentiostats. Along with true floating ground, unit features dynamic current range of 2 A to 4 nA with 120 fA resolution and 500 kS/sec DAQ speed.

Potentiostat/Galvanostat can be operated with AC/DC converter.

EG & G Princeton Applied Research    Oak Ridge, TN 37830
Dec 13, 2001 PARSTAT 2263 offers hardware capable of ±10 V scan ranges, with 20 V compliance, 200 mA current, and nA accuracy and fA resolutions. Bandwidth along with built-in Frequency Response Analyzer (FRA), allow EIS measurements to be conducted ranging from 10 µHz to 1 MHz. Interface to PC or laptop is Universal Serial Bus. Unit includes synchronous A/D input for monitoring DC inputs from temperature probes, pH meters, and other ancillary equipment.
