Mar 06, 2008 Radio-Tel works with Elfab's non-invasive, magnetic rupture detection system, Flo-Tel(TM)+, for real-time process monitoring of disc status and temperature. When installed, Radio-Tel transmitters are situated close to rupture disc and plug into Flo-Tel+. Transmitters sends regular updates to receiver every minute, and immediate alerts are sent when rupture is detected. Radio-Tel failsafe receiver module can receive signals from 1,600+ ft away, and repeater aerials are available.

When electrical circuit, embedded within Kapton membrane, ruptures due to overpressurization, circuit is broken, and change in voltage or resistance to current activates monitoring system.
