Radio-Tel works with Elfab's non-invasive, magnetic rupture detection system, Flo-Tel(TM)+, for real-time process monitoring of disc status and temperature. When installed, Radio-Tel transmitters are situated close to rupture disc and plug into Flo-Tel+. Transmitters sends regular updates to receiver every minute, and immediate alerts are sent when rupture is detected. Radio-Tel failsafe receiver module can receive signals from 1,600+ ft away, and repeater aerials are available.

Suited for range of industries, Model 5100-02-IT features integral LED display with magnet-operated menu to indicate gas status. It provides FM-approved, 180-day calibration interval, and interface via 4-20 mA, Modbus RS-485, or Sentry bus. Alarm relays may be supplemented by higher amperage control relays in same enclosure. Internal, continuous self-diagnostics automatically detect and alarm any fault problem. Output range is 0-100% of lower explosive limit.

Apr 05, 2004 RDI Series rupture disk indicators notify plant personnel immediately when rupture disk bursts or relief valve opens. When electrical circuit, embedded within Kapton membrane, ruptures due to overpressurization, circuit is broken, and change in voltage or resistance to current activates monitoring system. Usable with metal or graphite rupture disks, products are available in sizes from 1–24 in. with operating temperature range of -40 to +392°F. |
