Cotton Fiber Finishing Sticks match openings and holes.

Cotton Fiber Finishing Sticks match openings and holes.

Rex-Cut Products, Inc.    Fall River, MA 02720
Jan 14, 2014 Designed for deburring and finishing precision cast or machined parts, Rex-Cut® Cotton Fiber Finishing Sticks are made from reinforced nonwoven cotton fiber with aluminum oxide or silicon carbide abrasives, which are pressed and bonded together into different profile shapes and sizes. Units come in 1/8–1 in. dia round and square sizes in 4–6 in. lengths, with grain sizes from 24–320. Suitable for removing exit burrs in difficult-to-reach internal spaces, sticks will not change part’s geometry.

Meister Abrasives USA, Inc.    North Kingstown, RI 02852
Jan 21, 2013 Available for aluminum oxide and other conventional wheels on grinding machines that are not equipped with rotary dresser, hDD (Hybrid Diamond Dressing) and cDD (Hybrid matrix with CVD diamond inserts) stationary dressing tools do not have to be relapped or returned to manufacturer for repositioning of diamond insert. CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) diamond inserts in stationary cDD dressing tools have microcrystalline structure that readily breaks down for continuous self-sharpening.

Jul 30, 2010 Designed to eliminate dressing tool break-in time for centerless, angle-head, and other grinder applications, XL-2010 can be ordered with several blade widths and hand-set diamonds in specific pattern or random dispersion. Tool is built for specific grinding wheel according to user's individual requirements and can immediately begin dressing for first part-good part operation after installation.

Rotary Diamond Dressers optimize grinding processes.

G II Solutions, Inc.    Central, SC 29630
Oct 07, 2009 Electric, variable-speed dressing and truing systems (DTS) employ spindles that operate using custom-engineered brushless DC servomotors. These units drive diamond truing rolls and produce as well as maintain precision contours in grinding wheels. Compact spindles allow units to fit limited-space areas and can be viable replacements for single-point, hydraulic, and pneumatic dressers. Via available control packages, spindle speed and direction may be selected manually or through CNC.

Hybrid Diamond Dressing Tools never require conditioning.

Meister Abrasives USA, Inc.    North Kingstown, RI 02852
May 30, 2008 Designed to dress CBN grinding wheels, hDD Tools feature natural porosity of vitrified bond structure. Manufacturing process mechanically and chemically bonds diamond particles within tool to insure they will be held securely. Metal posts that attach to diamond crystals in bonding matrix can be slender, allowing for large pores to be distributed between crystals. Since dressing tools remain consistently sharp, surface of CBN wheel is restored to same condition after every dressing cycle.

Mar 24, 2005 Hand-Held Finishing Sticks are made from reinforced non-woven cotton fiber and abrasive grains, bonded and pressed together to constantly reveal fresh abrasives as they work. Capable of deburring, edge-breaking, removing parting lines from molds, and finishing in one step, sticks come in variety of sizes to fit holes and slots precisely. Round sticks are available 3/16 x 4 in. to ½ x 4 in. and squares come in 3/16 x 4 in. to ½ in. sq x 4 in.

Grinding Wheel Dressing System has cast iron body.

Service Network Inc.    Auburn, MA 01501
Oct 07, 2003 Heavy-duty lift-up (HDLU) dressing system has pivot shaft with extra wide bearing spacing for maximum stiffness. Stiff platform is suited for dressing conventional grinding wheels or abrasives. Precision-keyed nosepiece accepts dressing devices such as single point diamond, diamond form roll, rotary diamond disk, and rotary diamond cup. Changeover of peripheral devices can be accomplished without changing complete assemblies.
