These units drive diamond truing rolls and produce as well as maintain precision contours in grinding wheels. Compact spindles allow units to fit limited-space areas and can be viable replacements for single-point, hydraulic, and pneumatic dressers. Via available control packages, spindle speed and direction may be selected manually or through CNC.

May 30, 2008 Designed to dress CBN grinding wheels, hDD Tools feature natural porosity of vitrified bond structure. Manufacturing process mechanically and chemically bonds diamond particles within tool to insure they will be held securely. Metal posts that attach to diamond crystals in bonding matrix can be slender, allowing for large pores to be distributed between crystals. Since dressing tools remain consistently sharp, surface of CBN wheel is restored to same condition after every dressing cycle.

Capable of deburring, edge-breaking, removing parting lines from molds, and finishing in one step, sticks come in variety of sizes to fit holes and slots precisely. Round sticks are available 3/16 x 4 in. to ½ x 4 in. and squares come in 3/16 x 4 in. to ½ in. sq x 4 in.

Stiff platform is suited for dressing conventional grinding wheels or abrasives. Precision-keyed nosepiece accepts dressing devices such as single point diamond, diamond form roll, rotary diamond disk, and rotary diamond cup. Changeover of peripheral devices can be accomplished without changing complete assemblies.
