Variable Optical Attenuator has epoxy-free optical path.

GAO FiberOptics Inc.
Toronto   Canada
Oct 14, 2009 Operating at wavelengths from 1,290-1,625 Nm and temperature range of -5 to 75°C, manual variable optical attenuator is designed for optical power control and equalization of WDM systems, FTTx, OADM ,OXC, CATV, and measurement instruments. It features insertion loss of less than 1.5 dB, return loss of over 55 dB, and polarization dependent loss of less than 0.2 dB. Maximum handling power is 300 mW and attenuation level ranges from 10-45 dB.

Fiber Optic Attenuator works at 1,260-1,620 Nm wavelengths.

Jun 24, 2009 Featuring low insertion loss, high return loss and low PDL, PC board mountable variable optical attenuator is used for power control and equalization for WDMs, FTTx, CATV, OADM and measurement instruments. With operating wavelength between 1,290-1,625 nm, unit has maximum handling power of 1 W, and attenuation level from 10-45 dB at intervals of 0.5 dB. Manual attenuator is suited for fiber optic systems.

Switching Devices feature glass and plastic design.

Omron Electronics, LLC
Schaumburg, IL 60173
Aug 20, 2003 The 2 x 2 and 1 x 8 Fiber Optic Switching Devices come in small MEMS-scale package and consume 100 mW. Variable optical attenuator with indicator incorporates ultra-miniature actuator technology, while 4-channel multiplexer/demultiplexer unifies optical elements into single unit. Twelve channel multimode interconnect is also available. Devices are suited for access area applications where fiber optic cables deliver communication access to homes and businesses.
