Nov 11, 2009 With plastic frame adapter, Series 14 can be installed without screws or tools. Once snapped into adapter, sensors are inserted into 1.75 x 5.4 cm recess in steel sheet. Two plastic clamps secure adapter in cut-out and sensors are mounted tightly. Sensors cannot be readjusted or shifted accidentally, but can be dismounted for servicing. Adapter fits all Series 14 sensors, including diffuse, retro-reflective, and LED-based distance sensors.
