Sep 17, 2002 Anderlex belts offer low stretch resistance for high-tension applications. Suited for use on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum with abrasive belt equipment, belts resist loading. Color coated system includes blue (very fine), maroon (medium), and brown (coarse). Applications include buffing, polishing, and finishing of metal surfaces. Belts can also be used for centerless polishing, gridline conditioning, and defuzzing wood surfaces. |
Abrasive Belt handles heavy grinding.VSM Abrasives Corp.
O'Fallon, MO 63366
May 08, 2002 SK847 heavy-duty ceramic grain abrasive has extremely tough backing that performs well under severe grinding applications like heavy gate removal and power-assisted applications. Belt is top sized with added self-lubricating grinding layer that reduces heat during grinding process in heat sensitive applications. Problems of glazing, loading, and stripping on belts are also eliminated. It has good edge wear and extended life, cuts fast, and works in abusive environments. |
