FacetCorp (Dallas, Texas, USA), a leading provider of advanced VoIP PBX phone systems announced a new FacetPhone version targeted for customers with Apple Mac desktop and portable computers, as well as customers with Mac OS X Server environments.

The FacetPhone server (the control center of the IP-PBX phone system) has previously been available only on Linux and UNIX platforms. FacetPhone has now been released for the reliable and scalable Mac OS X Server platform. All of the FacetPhone functionality is included with the Mac Server solution. Customers may choose any of the Mac platforms that support OS X Server Snow Leopard, including the Mac mini, iMac, Mac Pro, or Xserve. However, most customers will need only the cost effective Mac mini for their FacetPhone server. The FacetPhone user interface, available to all users, is compatible with all Mac computers, including the MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iMac, Mac mini, and Mac Pro.
