Construction and Finishes: Hess TORO is fabricated from steel and hot-dip galvanized for proven long-term corrosion resistance, prior to being finished in finely textured paint. The utility bollard access door is flush-mounted and secured with lock and key to ensure safety and prevent unauthorized entry. An integral chute allows cables to pass through for closed-door operation while in use. An electrical chassis plate is provided for installation of electrical components. Electrical design, electrical components, and installation are provided by others to applicable local and national codes. Water utility bollards are designed for open-door operation, with plumbing and fittings supplied by others.
The utility bollard mounts to a galvanized-steel soil insert for embedment into a concrete foundation. Standard colors are finely textured matte silver-grey metallic, dark grey, graphite grey or black. Special colors available. All hardware is stainless steel.
