“United Filters expands its ULTRA-D Submicron Filter Series to include point-of-entry and point-of-use water filtrations systems for maximum contaminant removal”



Sun Valley, CA – United Filters announces its latest addition to its ULTRA-D Submicron Filter Series, the Trident Three-Stage Water Filtration Systems, encompassing the proprietary and patented electro-adsorption technology. ULTRA-D submicron filters have been independently tested by a certified laboratory and reduce up to 99.99% (stage two only;  laboratory report available upon request) of major contaminants in tap water.



Trident point-of-entry systems address contaminants in all four areas (aesthetic, solids and metals, pathogens, chemicals) to include the following:



Stage 1 - ULTRA-D high flow submicron filter to reduce dirt, sand, rust, viruses, bacteria, cysts, lead and other heavy metals, volatile organic compounds, inorganics (greater than 90%).



Stage 2 - ULTRA-D, PAC/Agion submicron filter to reduce viruses, bacteria, cysts, chlorine, lead and other heavy metals, volatile organic compounds, inorganics.



Stage 3 - 1-micron catalytic carbon block filter to reduce chlorine, chloramines, bad taste and odor, lead, volatile organic compounds, inorganics.



Trident Systems are a cost effective solution for residential and commercial applications: homes, restaurants, schools, and office buildings where lead and other contaminants continue to be a major health concern. The system comes with one-inch ports for approximately (other port sizes available).



The ULTRA-D Submicron Filter Series are also available as stand-alone filter cartridges for existing systems.
