Amatom Steel-Lock(TM) Snap-In Standoffs Cut Assembly Costs


Amatom Steel-Lock(TM) standoffs are the quick and easy way to mount printed circuit boards. Because these standoffs simply snap into place, no tools, screws, nuts or washers are required. Assembly time and costs are materially reduced. Boards lock securely into place and may be easily removed for replacement or repair.

Steel-Lock(TM) Snap-in standoffs come in a variety of styles that include snaps on both ends or screw mounting on one end. Molded plastic bodies are made from flame-retardant ABS. Heat-treated stainless steel snap-in tips complete the assembly. A stabilizing spring is provided.

These standoffs are designed for use with boards or panels that range in thickness from .045 to .078 inches. Standoff lengths vary from 3/8 to 1-3/8 inches.

Steel-Lock(TM) standoffs will meet the requirements of MIL-T-5422 or MIL-E-16400. They have been tested under the procedures outlined in MIL STD 810C for vibration, shock and temperature.
