ONYX from Griven USA Sets New Standard for Architectural Ultra-Narrow Beam Projectors

Product Description: ONYX raises the benchmark for ultra-narrow beam projectors where precise and uniform illumination at long distances is required. The projector combines 96 high power LEDs in RGBW, dynamic, warm, or cool white with specialized optics to produce a very narrow 4° beam, capable of delivering 3 footcandles at a distance of 700 feet. Precise beam control and excellent color mixing in this IP65 rated solid state luminaire gives designers the ability to graze taller facades or illuminate objects from unparalleled distances.
ONYX features a thermally isolated LED driver for enhanced longevity. The integral driver accepts input voltage from 120v through 277v at 50/60Hz for simplified installation. The RGBW and dynamic white models have several modes of operation, including stand-alone automatic sequencing, master-satellite, or interface with external DMX controller. The luminaire has a continuous dimming range from 1% to 100%. Automatic over-temperature protection and self-resetting fuse are standard.
Options include a proprietary Polar Edition for areas where snow and ice are prevalent. The Polar Edition integral de-icing system enables ONYX to illuminate unhindered despite snow and ice. Accessories for light control include barn doors, full or angled glare shields, or louvers. Custom mounting options are also available on request. All hardware is stainless steel.
Construction & Finishes: ONYX housing is die-cast aluminum, measuring 22” wide x 15” high x 6”deep. The adjustable yoke is fabricated from steel and allows surface mounting to the ground, walls or ceiling, with vertical adjustment capability of +/- 90°. Lens is clear tempered glass. Luminaire is finished in scratch-resistant polyester powder coat. Luminaire has an IP65 protection rating. All hardware is stainless steel.
