Original Press Release:

Popular IECC Epoxy Primers Better Than Ever

To make application easier for customers, the popular epoxy primers from Industrial Environmental Coatings Corporation (IECC), Enviroline(R) 58 and Enviroline(R) 59, have recently been reformulated to be better than ever. Mixing is now more consistent with other Enviroline products. Both primers now offer lower VOCs than before. Special thinners are no longer required with Enviroline 58; IECC's standard Enviroline 76T Thinner may be used as need with both primers. In addition, the color of each has changed. Enviroline 58 is now available in tan for greater contrast from IECC topcoats, and Enviroline 59 is a lighter color to increase the hiding ability of the Envirothane(TM) 535 Urethane topcoat.

Enviroline 58 is an epoxy polyamide rust inhibitive primer designed for use as an undercoat for interior and exterior steel surfaces requiring an extended recoat window. Enviroline 59 is an ideal first coat in two coat high performance epoxy / urethane systems, particularly those with less than ideal surface preparation.

Based in Pompano Beach, Florida, Industrial Environmental Coatings Corporation is the manufacturer of Enviroline(R), Envirothane(TM), and Enviromat(R) Series products. Providing long term durability and protection against chemical attack, corrosion and leaks, these products are high solids and offer excellent chemical and temperature resistance.
