CONCORD, Calif., -- Jopari Solutions, Inc., a leading supplier of integrated medical transaction EDI services to the healthcare and Property & Casualty (P&C) industries, today announced the upcoming release of JopariPay-Enhanced, an expanded set of capabilities for the Company's JopariPay product now used by many Property & Casualty payers. JopariPay-Enhanced will offer payers the ability not only issue payments via traditional print and mail, but also via EFT/ACH as well as payment card services.
Stated Jopari Senior Vice President Don St. Jacques, "through this new capability, payers will have access to EFT enrollment of over 500,000 providers, in addition to thousands of providers who are accepting payment cards. Integrated with the Jopari Remittance Gateway enrollment tool, this expanded product will assist payers in the P&C market that are now required to meet state-specific mandates to offer EFT payments to providers, while at the same time ensuring they comply with jurisdictional requirements for providing appropriate documentation of the payment decision to the provider."
As an added feature, JopariPay-Enhanced will facilitate for providers the ability to "opt-in" to the payment card programs during the enrollment process which for some providers may be a viable payment method, based on their business need.
