OLED Displays integrate multi-font IC.

November 28, 2012 - Graphic OLED Displays are available with additional serial interface IC that has 50+ languages and 37 font tables. Fonts are either fixed width or proportional width and can be read at clock rate up to 30 MHz. End-user's MPU can communicate directly with Multi-Font IC to read font data strings and then output desired character onto display. Using 4-wire SPI interface, selected font data is read in vertical structured bytes from Multi-Font IC and sent out to display controller.

The Multi-Font Display technology will be offered as select Graphic Display Family Groups and will be released in series starting with Newhaven Display International, Inc.’s Graphic OLED Displays.

- 8 x 16 BOLD ASCII
- Width-Adjusted Arial ASCII

- 8 x 16 Greek

- 8 x 16 Thai
- Width-Adjusted Latin
- Width-Adjusted Greek
- Width-Adjusted Cyrillic
