Multi-Stage Fracturing System simplifies downhole well drilling.
Press Release Summary:
April 1, 2011 - QuickFRAC® is multi-stage completion system that can fracture 60 stages downhole in shale and tight sandstone formations, during pumping of 15 treatments at surface. This is accomplished as single pumping treatment is conducted on surface and directed into 2-5 stages downhole. System allows operator to fracture several isolated stages at one time through process of batch fracturing.

- Packers Plus Releases a Multi-stage Completion System Capable of 60 Stages Downhole... With Only 15 Treatments at Surface
Packers Plus Energy Services Inc. is releasing a new technology capable of fracturing 60 stages downhole while only pumping 15 treatments at surface. This new system, called QuickFRAC®, is the first of its kind in the industry.
"QuickFRAC is a great technology that has met the need for an increased number of stages in shale and tight sandstone formations such as the Bakken, the Horn River, and the Cardium as well as many others," said Dan Themig, President of Packers Plus. "QuickFRAC allows the operator to do the job of pumping 15 stages on surface while Packers Plus does the job downhole, providing as many as 60 individual stages. This is done by taking a single pumping treatment on surface and precisely directing it into 2-5 stages downhole. For the operator, pumping time and costs are reduced significantly and production results are greatly increased," Themig added.
The QuickFRAC system is a technology that enables operators to increase the number of fractures in a single treatment operation. This system has been successfully trialed in the field, and is now commercially available. Using limited entry diversion techniques and our proprietary technology, the QuickFRAC system allows you to fracture several isolated stages at one time through a process known as batch fracturing.
"Our operators are very excited about this new system," said Mark Rivenbark, Eastern Hemisphere Business Unit Director for Packers Plus. "The QuickFRAC technology has been proven in shale and tight sandstone formations resulting in a 60% reduction in operation time compared to our standard StackFRAC® system. This is an impressive savings and means that our customers will realize an improved return on their investment."
The Packers Plus QuickFRAC system is now available worldwide and you can find more information on our website under Products - www.packersplus.com.
