L-com Now Carries Shielded 10x10 Modular Plugs (RJ50) and Crimp Tool
NORTH ANDOVER, MA - L-com, Inc., a global leader in the manufacture of wired and wireless connectivity products, announced today that it now carries shielded 10x10 position plugs (also sometimes known as RJ50 plugs) for customers to use to terminate 5 pair bulk cable.
The connectors are especially useful in small niche projects where ten pins are necessary and a shield must be grounded. L-com is now selling these connectors in bags of 100 for convenient manufacturing setup.
"The ten-by-ten connectors are rare, but shielded ones are almost impossible to find," said Pete McNeil, L-com's Product Manager for Telecom/Modular products. "We realized that the need in our industry is strong so we decided to start carrying this exclusive product."
The 100-packs of connectors are available now for immediate shipment. L-com also carries the special hand-tool for crimping these connectors.
