IBASE Announces the Availability of an Intel® 915GM Express Mini-ITX Motherboard
TAIPEI, TAIWAN, August 10, 2005 - IBASE, a leader in embedded computing and a member of the Intel® Communications Alliance, announces the availability of the MB896 915GM Express Mini-ITX Motherboard supporting a socket for an Intel® Pentium® M or an Intel® Celeron® M processor and a memory slot for DDR2 400/533MHz SDRAM. Integrated with the Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 900, the board delivers better graphics performance over the previous generation chipset and features dual display from two independent video sources. It also supports the latest Intel® High Definition Audio that enables increased bandwidth for high quality audio.
The 170mm by 170mm platform provides networking versatility with a 10/100 BaseT Ethernet and optional PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet. Other high speed interfaces are provided by 2 SATA ports and 6 USB 2.0 ports.
The MB896 perfectly suits the needs of multimedia, gaming and other applications requiring high quality graphics and audio performance, as well as high computing in a low power platform.
