With a footprint of just 3.5mm x 2.6mm and an ultra-low profile of 1.4mm, C&K's new PTS830 Series SMT switches deliver reliable switching performance within the space constraints imposed by the miniaturization of next-generation wearable electronic devices, portable wireless devices, remote controls, and keyless entry systems.

PTS830 Series SMT switches are top-actuated, momentary action devices, with a single pull single throw (SPST), normally open configuration. Rated for 12VDC and 50mA, the switches are available with actuation force options of 160gf and 450gf, and with operating life cycles of 200,000 and 500,000. Travel distance is 0.15mm ±0.1mm, with a typical bounce time of ≤10ms, and rated operating temperatures for the series span -40°C to +85°C.
