Magnetic Inductive Flow Sensor provides ±1% accuracy.
Press Release Summary:
March 31, 2014 - Unlike sensors with moving parts, Series MFS2 can measure contaminated media in ½, ¾, 1, or 1 ¼ in. diameter pipes. Electromagnetic PVDF flowmeter is available for flow ranges from 0.02–66 gpm. Any change in temperature, density, viscosity, concentration, or electrical conductivity does not affect output signal. Providing obstruction-free pipe cross section, Series MFS2 is suitable for accurate reversible gauging of volume flow of conductive liquids in closed piping.

NEW! Series MFS2 Magnetic Inductive Flow Sensor
Press release date: March 27, 2014
The Series MFS2 Magnetic Inductive Flow Sensor is a compact, low cost, PVDF electromagnetic flowmeter. Unlike sensors with moving parts, the MFS2 can be used in applications dealing with contaminated media in ½”, ¾”, 1” or 1-1/4” diameter pipes. This series provides a reliable measuring technique with a ±1% accuracy, an obstruction free pipe cross-section, as well as a quick response time, making this series ideal for interference free operation. Any change in temperature, density, viscosity, concentration or electrical conductivity, does not affect the output signal of this magnetic inductive flow sensor. This, in addition to its long life cycle, makes this series perfect for accurate reversible gauging of volume flow of conductive liquids in closed piping. This unit is available for flow ranges from 0.02 to 66 GPM (0.25 to 250 LPM).
This unit operates by creating a magnetic field in its measuring pipe. When an electrically conductive medium passes through the pipe a voltage is created that is proportional to the average flow velocity. This velocity is picked up by two electrodes within the MFS2 and a frequency output signal is obtained that is proportional to the flow.
