Griven USA Introduces RUBY MC for Architectural and Landscape Lighting
New Product Introduction: RUBY MC– medium-sized LED surface-mount luminaire in RGBW, dynamic, or cool white offers four distributions and a selection of digital control options.

Product Applications:Â RUBY MC is well suited to accenting and illumination of buildings, facades, and architectural features; bridges and landmarks; memorials, monuments, and statuary, as well as for general landscape lighting found on corporate and educational campuses, government and institutional facilities, civic centers and sports arenas, and upscale retail and entertainment venues.
Product Description: RUBY MC satisfies a wide variety of architectural and landscape illumination needs with a selection of optics ranging from spot to wide distributions. The luminaire features six high power LEDs fitted with precision lenses to produce symmetric spot, narrow, medium, or wide beam patterns. The LEDs are available in RGBW, dynamic white, or cool white to satisfy varying architectural lighting requirements. A range of optional light control accessories including barn doors, glare shields, or louvers are available on request.
RUBY MC is equipped with an integral LED driver and on-board control functions. The integral driver accepts an input voltage range from 120v through 277v at 50/60Hz for simplified ordering and installation. The RGBW and dynamic white models are easily programmed by a remote infrared controller for stand-alone automatic sequencing, master-satellite operation for multiple unit synchronization, or interface with external DMX controller.  The luminaire has a continuous dimming range from 1% to 100%. Automatic over-temperature protection and self-resetting fuse are standard.
Options include a proprietary Polar Edition for areas where snow and ice are prevalent. The Polar Edition integral de-icing system enables RUBY MC to illuminate unhindered despite snow and ice. Custom mounting options are also available on request. All hardware is stainless steel.
An inground version of RUBY MC with all of the same performance features will be available in late 2016.
Construction & Finishes: RUBY MC housing is die-cast aluminum, measuring 9.8” in diameter with an overall depth of 6.3”. The adjustable yoke is fabricated from steel and allows surface mounting with full range vertical adjustment capability of +/- 90°. Lens is clear tempered glass. Luminaire is finished in scratch-resistant polyester powder coat. Luminaire has an IP66 protection rating. All hardware is stainless steel.Â
The electronic driver accepts input voltage range from 120v through 277v at 50/60Hz. Operating temperature range is -22°F to 113°F (-30°C to 45°C). Power consumption is 58 watts. CSA Certified for Wet Location pending.
