Leak Detection System replaces multiple stand-alone instruments.

Press Release Summary:

Qualitek 6000 fully-automatic, multi-channel, modular leak detection system provides synchronous testing of similar components in parallel, as well as asynchronous testing of different items or different tests on same one. Set-up and use are achieved with password-protected menus. Graphical display reduces operator error by making operation straight-forward. Serial ports permit data transfer to printer or computer, and remote control via PLC is possible.

Original Press Release:

Multi-Channel Leak Detection System is Fast and Flexible

Houston, Texas. Total flexibility in leak testing, combined with the economy of a system that replaces multiple stand-alone instruments while improving performance, is provided by the Uson Qualitek 6000 fully automatic multi-channel modular leak detection system.

Testing speed and throughput are significantly increased by the system. As well as synchronous testing of similar components in parallel, asynchronous testing of different items or different tests on the same one can be performed, with no need to connect all test components before multi-channel testing. Operators can work independently, even in different plant areas, performing different tests.

Easy set-up and use are achieved with simple password protected menus, and a 'crisp' graphical display that also reduces operator error by making operation and results interpretation exceptionally straight-forward and non-subjective. All results
can also be displayed at the control unit for interrogation by a supervisor as required.

Modular design allows use as a small independent test system or full integration into a completely automatic station. Connectivity includes serial ports permitting data transfer to a printer or computer for data download, and remote control via a
PLC is also possible.

A system design, installation and commissioning service is offered. Fully fixtured systems of all complexities can be customised to requirement and may incorporate such features as interlocking guards, data capture, SPC software and analysis, automatic clamping, sealing and stamping.
