New Thinbit(R) Groove 'N Turn(TM) Inserts
Kaiser Tool Company announces GROOVE 'N TURN(TM), a new style of inserts for customers that require the ability to both groove and turn using narrow insert widths. Our offset insert design allows grooving or turning up to a shoulder.
GROOVE 'N TURN(TM) is fully compatible with existing LITTLEBIT(R) internal and external toolholders. Inserts are available in two (2) sub-micron grain carbide grades, DM-2(R) for steel and interrupted cutting, and DM-5(R) for aluminum and other non-ferrous alloys.
GROOVE 'N TURN(TM) is available in groove width sizes of .020", .030", .040", .060", .080", .100" and .125" with either sharp corners or .007" corner radius.
Uncoated and TiN coated inserts are in stock. TiCN, TiAIN and diamond coatings also available. Special configurations and high-speed steel are available upon request.
