Impact-Resistant Structural Steel withstands extreme conditions.
Press Release Summary:
April 10, 2014 - Available in thicknesses from 6.00–60.00 mm, Optim 700 QL1 exhibits strength and impact toughness that ensure load-bearing capacity of lifting equipment. Impact strength, tested at -60°C, is suited for use in demanding conditions and sub-zero temperatures. With formability, bendability, and weldability that lend to facilitated processing, steel also complies with EN 10025-6+A1 standard. Applications include cranes, load-bearing structures, and frame structures/components of heavy machinery.
