Announcing the Release of a Generator Powered Mini-Light Tower from Magnalight.com Provides Stand Alone Illumination

The WAL-ML-2XM-3G mini light tower from Larson Electronics’ Magnalight.com provides enough output to effectively illuminate large areas, yet can be set up by one person and operated independently of external power sources. Consisting of an adjustable mast that can be extended from 7 to 12 feet in height, two 1,000 watt metal halide lamps, and a 3000VA generator, this mini light tower is a complete lighting package. The tower and base assembly on this unit is constructed of heavy gauge steel that has been powder coated for high strength and resistance to rust and corrosion. The tower can be adjusted from 7 to 12 feet in height using an included hand winch, allowing operators to adjust the height to suit their particular needs and achieve full illumination of large work sites or outdoor events. Two 1,000 watt metal halide lamps producing 110,000 lumens each are fitted to a high strength mounting arm on the end of the mast, providing high output and good stability. Each lamp can be independently adjusted to provide optimal coverage of the area to be illuminated. The base of the light tower is fitted with two solid wheels which allow operators to simply tilt the entire unit back and roll it from one area to another for easy relocation around the worksite. The lamp and mounting bracket assembly can be removed from the tower and the tower collapsed, allowing operators to more easily stow and transport the unit. A single 3000VA quiet running generator is mounted to the base platform to provide operators with the ability to operate this tower independently of external power sources. This generator will run both lamps for approximately six hours on a single tank of fuel, providing good run times for most typical applications. This generator includes additional 120 and 240 VAC outlets to allow users to run other devices and equipment from the unit as well. Also included with this tower are two ballast boxes for operating the metal halide lamps which are mounted to the base platform next to the generator. By mounting all the necessary hardware to the wheeled base Magnalight has added weight to the platform, thus improving the overall stability of the tower when deployed. This mini light tower is ideal for worksites, emergency services, outdoor events, industrial plant turnarounds, and anywhere operators require a powerful lighting system that can run independently of any external power sources.
