New Dustvent Multi-Function Collector for Small Shop Welding!
The New Dustvent model 2.3x3S/D Multi-function smoke/dust collector is designed for welding applications in small shops. The 2.3x3S/D collects smoke from your welding operation. Then, flip the lever and it conerts to a downdraft bench for your finishing operations. The versatility does not end there. By adding a duct wye and a blast gate, dust can be collected from a third metalworking operation. Three (3) collectors for the price of (1)!!!
This new unit is only 34" high, with a direct drive 3 horsepower blower that moves 1500 CFM of air - yet produces only 71 db(A) of noise. The work surface of almost 7 square feet consists of a 2.3' x 3' steel grid with a capacity of 1770 lbs. It occupies less than 10 square feet of shop space and is shipped assembled, ready for electricity. An optional hood is available.
A high-efficiency permanent fabric filter inside the collector filters out the dust. The total filter area is 150 sq. ft. and overall efficiency exceeds 99.9% allowing the cleaned air to be recirculated indoors-saving the cost of heated or conditioned plant air. Optional activated carbon or HEPA filters are available and can be easily retrofitted at a later date. Manual or optional electric shakers cleans the filter. The removable dust pan is accessible without opening the front door.
