L-com Releases Cat5e and Cat6a Outdoor Rated Continuous Flex Ethernet Cables
NORTH ANDOVER, MAÂ – L-com Global Connectivity, a designer and manufacturer of wired and wireless connectivity products, has just released a new series of outdoor-rated, continuous flex Ethernet cable assemblies.
Designed for industrial or outdoor environments, these exclusive ultra flexible Category 5e and Category 6a patch cords from L-com are built to take a beating. The cables utilize an outdoor-rated flame-retardant thermoplastic elastomer (FR-TPE) jacket that is resistant to oil and UV damage while maintaining a CMX flame rating. Double shielding coupled with L-com's shielded RJ45 connectors reduce EMI/RFI interference.
"These new industrial Ethernet cable assemblies bridge the gap between OSP applications and more traditional indoor industrial network installations,"said Dave Gallagher, Product Manager.
