PEMTRON Launches New Eagle 8800 3D AOI with Color Imaging
Los Angeles, California, USA — Pemtron Technology announces the launch of the Eagle 8800 3D AOI system with revolutionary new color imaging. Color imaging enhances accuracy and precision of Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) providing a more true-to-life inspection image for the operator and reducing the rate of false calls. Because color imaging brings a life-like dimension to AOI inspection, there’s no need for the operator to use a microscope, and Pemtron’s color imaging system gives the software the ability to identify features on the surface of the PCB, from solder paste prints to lifted leads. Inspection is faster, more selective, and more accurate.
