Pakscan P3 modular control system offers processing plants capability to establish wireless communication network with Rotork valve actuators throughout their facility. Wireless capability operates on 2.4 GHz frequency and has line-of-site operating range of ~70 m indoors and 1,000 m outdoors. Built-in Web pages let control-room operators access and extract important asset management information without manually downloading information in field.

New Rotork Wireless Digital Control for Valve Actuators
The Rotork Pakscan P3 modular control system now offers processing plants the capability to establish a cost-effective, wireless communication network with Rotork valve actuators throughout their facility.
The wireless capability operates on the 2.4GHz frequency and has a line-of-site operating range of approximately 70 meters indoors and 1000 meters outdoors. It includes built-in web pages that provide an easy way for control-room operators to access and extract important asset management information such as actuator data logger and configuration files without the need of having to manually download the information in the field.
The new option gives Pakscan P3 master station users the choice of fully wired, fully wireless, or a combination of both wired and wireless capabilities.
To provide robust on-site communication, the wireless option operates a meshing system which ensures that all nodes have the facility of at least two routes back to the master station. If the normal traffic route is blocked, the network will find another way to route the messages.
