Ameri-Kart Introduces 96-Gallon Megakart(TM): The First of a New Generation of Waste Handling Cart
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: (May-2002) - Ameri-Kart introduced MegaKartâ„¢, an all-new, 96-gallon waste handling cart for the residential waste hauler. The MegaKart line combines the economy of injection molding with design features that reduce onsite assembly by 30 percent.
Commenting on the new model, Doug Eck, general manager of Ameri-Kart's Kansas plant said, "The injection molded cart is a technological departure for Ameri-Kart and we are confident the addition to our product line exceeds the demands of the market and the needs of our customers."
Both the residential customer and the waste hauler will find MegaKart easy to handle. A fully loaded cart can be simply positioned at the curb and lifted by a fully automated-scissors lift or semi-automated hydraulic lift. Unique features in the MegaKart allow it to be shipped with both the lid and rotating latch bar factory installed. Molded-in, anti-jam stops allow the carts to be shipped in 8-high stacks for efficient trailer cubing.
The MegaKart is molded from high-density polyethylene for exceptional durability and strength. The full-width handle is comfortable to use and gives excellent control when moving a fully loaded cart. The lid is domed for strength, water deflection and allows the cart to be over-packed. The lid also has a special double lip that keeps insects out and odor in. Panels on the lid and sides allow hot stamp identification with numbers and logos. MegaKarts are available in a selection of colors.
Rated at a generous load capacity of 335 pounds, the MegaKart moves easily over unpaved areas and maneuvers around tight corners on 12-inch HDPE wheels. Axles are 3/4" zinc plated solid steel for strength and durability.
