Ferrule, narrow metal cylinder used for reinforcement and stability within rubber grommet, includes welded-on washer. It is mechanically crimped to ferrule in automated manufacturing process, and both ferrule and washer are galvanized steel. Galvanization is corrosion-resistant and will prevent rusting. This product reduces required assembly time and removes need for additional component.
