Ultra-Compact and Lightweight CMOS Displacement Laser Ideal for Industrial Robots

Weighing only 65 grams the newly released Optex FA CD33 series displacement laser sensor features sub-pixel processing for micron-accurate detection of all materials from white ceramic to black rubber. The CD33 is ideal for mounting on robot heads and linear slides/cylinders where light weight and compact sensors are required.

The self-contained and ultra-compact sensor provides a variety of control outputs that include both digital and analog. Serial communication is also available for simple direct connection to PC and PLC's.

The CD33 features ± 0.1% F.S. linearity making it the ideal choice for applications that require real-time production monitoring of coating, extrusion, laminating and component assembly machines

Intuitive set-up is provided with two large buttons for function select and set point setting minimizing set-up time for simple go/no-go detection of thickness and distance of all materials in error-proofing applications

Typical Industries include: rubber, automotive, lumber, steel, robotics, semi-conductor, and tire inspection. Optex FA is a world leader in the design, manufacture and application of high quality factory and process automation sensors.
