Featuring Windows® XP compatible, software controlled wavelength selection from 360-1,000 nm, TLS Series is suitable for detector sensitivity testing, color matching and characterization, and for testing reflectivity and absorption of different materials. Monochromator includes USB interface and 60 in. long fiber cable output with SMA adapter. It offers choice of 6, 10, and 25 nm bandpass output for users who need to illuminate specific wavelengths.

Tunable Light Source Automates Wavelength Selection
A low-cost, software controlled wavelength tunable light source that can be used for detector sensitivity testing, color matching and characterization, and for testing the reflectivity and absorption of different materials is being introduced by Optometrics Corporation of Ayer, Massachusetts.
The Optometrics TLS Series Wavelength Tunable Light Source features Windows® XP compatible software controlled wavelength selection from 360 to 1000 nm, scanning between wavelengths, and has a USB interface. This monochromator includes a 60" L optimized fiber cable output with an SMA adapter.
Offering a choice of bandpass output: 6-, 10- and 25 nm for users who need to illuminate specific wavelengths, the Optometrics TLS Series Wavelength Tunable Light Source has an integrated stepper motor. Manual versions are also offered. Applications include research, quality control, and teaching.
