Oryx Simulations Launches World-class Truck Simulator

UMEA, Sweden -- Oryx Simulations is launching an all-new truck simulator-the Oryx 500 Construction Truck Trainer.

"This new simulator encompasses advanced technology, user-friendliness, and significant value for customers. Our pioneering simulators are as close to real life as you can get," says Clarence Jacobson, CEO at Oryx Simulations.

The Oryx 500 Construction Truck Trainer is one in a series of new simulators from Oryx Simulations.

Customer value has been priority number one for the development of the Oryx 500 Construction Truck Trainer. The simulator will help truck drivers like those in the mining industry and at construction sites become better at maneuvering their vehicles, improving safely and fuel efficiency and avoiding unnecessary wear on brakes.

"Using our simulators means improved safety and higher productivity. They provide a highly realistic experience-they're as close to real life as you can get. Oryx simulators clearly indicate to the user whether the truck is fully loaded or not, for example. They also allow the user to use the side mirrors, just like in a real truck," says Jacobson.

Oryx simulators are high-tech, but are very easy to use. All you need is a power outlet, which means you can use your simulator in any classroom. They're also easy to move. Oryx simulators are perfect for vocational schools, but also for companies that want to provide their employees an effective way of training.

"We can also build simulators inside containers, which can then easily be transported to actual work sites. This allows personnel to benefit from simulator training while avoiding a lot of time away from work," Jacobson adds.

Swedish-based Oryx Simulations is a pioneer in the field of advanced simulators for forestry, construction, and mining machines. The company has successfully and rapidly driven technological development and has established partnerships with several heavy-machine manufacturers, like Volvo CE and Atlas Copco. The new Oryx 500 Construction Truck Trainer has been developed in cooperation with Brazilian companies Odebrecht and Tracbel.

"We've built the simulator to suit their needs. And that's precisely the way we want to work with our customers. Their input and needs should make our products even better," Jacobson says.

The Oryx 500 Construction Truck Trainer is launching as the first in a series of new simulators from Oryx Simulations marketed under its own brand.

"We're both proud and excited to be world leaders in the simulator industry. We believe our new series will be well received," Jacobson concludes.
