TORRANCE, Calif. -- Kubota Tractor Corporation (KTC) introduces the all-new L39, tractor/loader/backhoe. Building on Kubota’s leading tractor and diesel engine technology, this L39 delivers exceptional strength and performance that is ideal for rental users, contractors and homeowners seeking professional results from a compact tractor. This rugged performer provides exceptional versatility with Category I, 3-point hitch and independent PTO capabilities.
Powered by Kubota’s 39-horsepower (hp) diesel engine, the operator will experience maximum power and high torque rise, even under heavy loads or at low speeds. This diesel engine delivers cleaner emissions and rates at 30.5 PTO hp. Special balancers provide lower noise and vibration levels and a spark arrestor muffler is standard.
The transmission is an electronically controlled hydraulic Glide Shift Transmission (GST) with 12F/8R speeds, enabling the operator to select the correct travel speed for the task at hand. Its exceptional performance enables clutchless, shock-free shifting delivering smooth operation. The L39 is equipped with shuttle shift, allowing the operator to shift from forward to reverse and back again without ever clutching or braking, improving loader work productivity.
The all-new slanted, sleek design of the front loader boom, hood and grill guard provide the operator with a greater field of view. The L39’s performance-matched loader provides power and productivity, delivering 3,560 lbs. of breakout force, 2,200 lbs. of lift capacity and 9’6” lift height. The auto-leveling valve automatically keeps the bucket or pallet fork horizontal as the loader boom raises and lowers.
The performance-matched backhoe features the new high performance inching valve and independent swing pump, which enhance delicate backhoe movements for precise operation. The new curved boom reaches a maximum 10’ digging depth with a minimum trench cut. With a 5,825-pound bucket breakout force and a lifting capacity of 1,235 lbs., this L39 will be able to handle even the toughest of jobs. The backhoe has a quick attach/detach system that enables the use of a Category I, 3-point hitch and independent PTO.
Kubota’s exclusive IntelliPanel™ display provides the operator with the tractor’s current working status, and reminds the operator when recommended maintenance is due. The display is located on the side, providing information at a glance for faster, safer operation whether working with the loader or the backhoe.
