Amerlux Lighting Solutions Unveils Architecturally Styled ‘Low Voltage Miniature Track Heads’ Designed For MR-16 Lamps

FAIRFIELD, NEW JERSEY---With much of today's successful retail and commercial design, often less is often more. Designers and specifiers need diminutive, unobtrusive lighting powered by a strong light source. To answer that challenge, Amerlux Lighting Solutions combines state of the art technology with a clean architectural style to unveil a versatile collection of "Low Voltage Miniature Track Heads," designed for MR-16 halogen lamps. Amerlux is a design leader for task-specific, energy-efficient lighting in the retail, supermarket, commercial and hospitality markets.

Amerlux's Low Voltage Track Fixtures offer a sophisticated, clean and compact look to complement nearly any interior design or accent lighting task. All are designed for MR16 lamping, achieve vertical aiming angle adjustment (0 to 90 degrees), 356 degree rotation, (with some fixtures offering vertical tilt lock). The luminaires are equipped with electronic transformers that work with most standard incandescent dimmers. They utilize halogen bulbs for a truer, whiter light, greater energy efficiency and better clarity of color and texture, than any other incandescent source. The Low Voltage Track Heads can be used for new construction, as well as retrofit installations to pump new life into existing tracks by replacing older, less efficient fixtures.

This collection of low voltage luminaires provides specifiers with a choice of features, aesthetics and costs – ranging from rugged die-cast aluminum fixtures to economical open fixtures. All fixtures are compact in design providing a less obtrusive look and allowing designers to put lighting in small spaces, giving these fixtures the advantage for use in display work, art galleries, museums and other accent lighting applications. Four types of fixtures are offered in this collection: Die-Cast Enclosed, Die-Cast Open Ring, Ring, and Shallow Ring. Available finishes are Black and White for all fixtures, as well as Brushed Nickel with Black for the Die-Cast Open Ring and Shallow Ring types.

All new Low Voltage Track Heads utilize the MR-16 Bi-Pin 12v lamp, ranging from 20w to 50w and providing improved beam spread control over standard R and PAR lamps with approximately 66% energy cost savings.

To customize lighting effects, Amerlux offers Dichroic, Color and clear spread lenses, U.V. filters, spread and beam elongating lens, which can be easily added for eye-catching appeal.
