Measuring 0.12 in. thick, Quadrafoam is intended for space-constrained applications where flame safety, dust arrestance, and sufficient airflow is critical. Soft and compressible, media is available in 45, 60, and 80 pores/in. In addition to filtration applications, Quadrafoam can also be bonded to interior chassis walls for insulation or circuit card stabilization purposes, and is suited for medical, power-gen, military electronics, and telecom applications.

UAF Introduces Thinnest Filter Media to Meet UL 94
SAUGET, Ill. - Universal Air FilterŪ has created the thinnest media available that meets the UL 94 HF-1 rating. This new 0.12-inch-thick Quadrafoam is ideal for medical, power-gen, military electronics, telecom and any other filter applications where space is at a premium, yet flame safety, dust arrestance and sufficient airflow is critical.
"Until now, design engineers for all product markets couldn't find a 0.12-inch-thick media that also met the UL 94 HF-1 requirement," said Mike Miano, engineering and sales manager at UAF. "This is beneficial for any industry requiring UL classification and CE compliance."
Thin Quadrafoam media is soft and compressible and available in 45, 60 and 80 pores-per-inch (PPI). In addition to filtration applications, it can also be bonded to interior chassis walls for insulation or circuit card stabilization purposes
