Zebra Technologies Announces Immediate Availability of ZXP Series 3 Card Printer in EMEA

Zebra Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: ZBRA), announces the immediate availability of ZXP Series 3(TM) card printer to the EMEA market.
Education institutions, retail outlets and financial institutions can look forward to a combined performance and affordability in the ZXP Series 3. With its added security and encoding features, the ZXP Series 3 offers a printing platform for not only ID card, gift card, loyalty card or membership card application, but also the secure issuance of financial cards.

The ZXP Series 3 is unique to the card printing market. With easy to-use features like the Load-N-Go(TM) ribbon cartridge and an LCD display with operating prompts, it requires little training and optimises uptime. The ZRaster host-based image processing technology takes advantage of the increased processing power of today's PCs to significantly optimise image and print quality while increasing overall print speed throughput. This permits greater sophistication in the image optimisation without sacrificing printer speed or adding extra cost. Additionally, new Zebra high performance ribbons employ an improved chemical formulation specifically designed for the ZXP Series 3's fast high-quality image printing. Zebra is first-to-market with ribbons at this performance level which provide more efficient dye transfer and greater durability under high-speed printing conditions. Both of these innovations work together to provide high image quality and high throughput without compromising reliability or cost.
Zebra has also introduced the ZMotif(TM) CardStudio(TM) card design and issuance software suite. The product is Zebra's newest card design software application for designing, encoding and printing cards for a variety of markets including ID and access control cards, gift cards, loyalty and club cards, school identification and library cards, and visitor badges. This software is optimised for all Zebra card printers including: direct-to-card, retransfer, current and legacy models, and contains many new features and benefits for anyone looking to design and print cards. New capabilities and features such as a new software-only license manager, and Direct-to-Print (D2P) technology demonstrate Zebra's commitment to deliver and innovate productivity software for ID cards across a wide range of industries and hardware/software solutions.
