Peel Away the Confusion of Adhesive Measurement

Middleboro, MA – Brookfield Engineering offers the new 90° Peel Fixture for use with the CT3 Tester, designed to measure the adhesion force between two materials. The fixture maintains a 90° angle as the tape is pulled away from the substrate. The CT3 Tester measures the adhesive force to separate the tape. Typical applications include testing the strength of packaging tape, adhesive bandages, transdermal patches or any number of items with an adhesive surface.

The Brookfield CT3 Tester is the best value in a stand-alone instrument for physical testing. It combines simplicity of operation with expanded test method capability and operates in both compression and tension modes.

Brookfield offers dozens of test fixtures with several designed specifically for testing packaging and adhesives. They also continue to develop new accessories in response to each customer’s particular needs.

TexturePro CT software for the CT3 Tester enables the operator to automate test procedures and generate valuable analytical data for record keeping and comparison of established benchmarks.
