Taking dirt ingression rate and operating environment into consideration, Air Breather Check(TM) (ABC) test system notifies users when it is time to change air breathers. Tester is calibrated in inches of water and will activate, providing visual indication, when vacuum equivalent of 15 in. of water is reached. ABC can be reset by push of button and used repeatedly. Compact unit includes adapter with splash guard and is suited for various installations.

Leetsdale, PA- Schroeder Industries, a recognized leader in filtration and fluid conditioning products, introduces its Air Breather Check (ABC) test system, a revolutionary new product to measure air breather effectiveness.
It's a common misconception that air breathers should be replaced every six months. In actuality, additional factors should be taken into consideration for determining when to change an air breather, including dirt ingression rate and operating environment. Air breathers can often last longer than six months and dirt in the filter can actually increase efficiency by reducing the size of the holes in the filter media and helping stop smaller dirt particles.
The ABC is calibrated in inches of water and will activate, providing a visual indication, when a vacuum equivalent of 15 inches of water is reached. The ABC can be reset by the push of a button and used over and over again.
The compact ABC includes an adapter with splash guard, and is suitable to various installations by utilizing optional fittings and/or low pressure hose.
