June 25, 2002 - K-Bloxâ„¢ blocks, molded from thermoplastics, mount on 35 mm DIN rail and have captive screw system that simplifies attachment of ring lugs and eliminates need for disassembly. They are offered in 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 position sizes and include permanent marker strip for block identification. Blocks provide 0.560 in. spacing of current bars and are rated for 600 V, 30 A. Optional ShuntSwitchâ„¢ common shunt bar slides into place and positively locks.

A new series of terminal (junction) blocks that have a low-profile design for DIN rail mounting and feature an easy-to-use captive screw system for connecting wires, with an optional built-in shunt switch for added safety, is being introduced by Konnext, Inc. of Hudson, Massachusetts.
Konnext K-Bloxâ„¢ Terminal/Junction Blocks are molded from thermoplastics, rather than conventional phenolics, allowing a low-profile design that saves space and can be mounted on a 35 mm DIN rail. Featuring a captive screw system which simplifies the attachment of ring lugs and eliminates the need for disassembly, they are offered in 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 position sizes and include a permanent marker strip for block identification.
Constructed with UL-approved materials, Konnext K-Bloxâ„¢ Terminal/Junction Blocks provide 0.560" centerline-to-centerline spacing of current bars and are rated for 600 Volts, 30 Amps. Available with an optional ShuntSwitchâ„¢ common shunt bar which slides into place and positively locks, other options include fuse blocks, diode blocks, jumpers, rising cage - and wire clamp terminations.
