Enabling Automatic Height Adjustment: SKF® 'Telesmart' Telescopic Pillars Optimize Ergonomics in the Workplace

SKF® TELESMART telescopic pillars enable safe, fast, powerful, and reliable height adjustment for desks, tables, chairs, and lightweight industrial workstations. Their slim design and compact profile contribute to unobtrusive plug-and-play system integration for optimized ergonomics in the workplace. Pillars can be controlled with desk, hand, or foot switches.

Standard 24VDC TMA and TMD pillars have been engineered with microprocessor controls to coordinate synchronous operation. Integrated soft-start and soft-stop functions promote smooth movements. Additional internal monitoring functions govern reliable operation and safe switch-off in the event of a fault.

Type TMA pillars (640mm retracted length and 500mm stroke) can deliver push force up to 1000N at speeds up to 55mm/sec. Type TMD pillars (550mm retracted length and 700mm stroke) can achieve push force up to 800N at speeds up to 60mm/sec.

Pillar systems comply with IP20, can be mounted quickly and easily using supplied mounting bracket, and serve virtually maintenance-free. Optional accessories promote customization to satisfy particular application demands.
