White/cream in color, 55 lb/ft³ SM is formulated to run clean and works in die cast operations. Product will leave bright, polished finish when used with proper compound. Tan in color, 55 lb/ft³, SY-1 general-purpose deburring media leaves finish capable of being plated or polished. This product is capable of replacing general-purpose plastic media applications.

Vibra Finish has Completed the R&D of Two New Synthetic Media Formulations
Vibra Finish has completed the R&D of two new synthetic media formulations. They have now been added to the website and are in full production in the Ohio plant. If you have any questions or would like to have a sample sent to you please contact your Vibra Finish Sales person. Below is a brief description of both.
SM: A great long lasting formulation that runs extremely clean. Works extremely well in die cast operations in conjunction with the new mold sizes listed below. Will leave a very bright polished finish when used with proper compound. White/cream in color 55lbs per cubic foot.
SY-1: A general purpose deburring media that leaves a finish capable of being plated or polished. Very capable of replacing general purpose plastic media applications at reduced cost and comparable wear rate. Tan in color 55lbs per cubic foot.
New Mold sizes available
We recently added into production two new mold sizes for the synthetic media line. The new sizes are a 2"x 2" tetrahedron and 3"x 3" tetrahedron. These sizes are great for larger die cast parts in flow thru style machines. Sample of these can be sent upon request.
We have added a 35 liter centrifugal disc to the VibraHone machine line. The standard machine comes with a variable speed drive, timer, and compound flow meter. The CD35 has a manual dump handle and a fully adjustable gap. Contact your Vibra Finish sales representative for pricing .See photo below.
