PowerGate LLC announces the release of the Cosel GHA500 series of AC/DC switching power supplies in the industry standard 3 x 5 Footprint, offering Industry leading open frame power density of 24W/in3. The GHA500 has been designed to be used in a wide variety of Medical, ITE and Industrial applications where field reliability is critical and space is at a premium.
The GHA500 Series is optimized to supply up to 500 watts of single output power with system provided forced air cooling. The GHA500 models are open-frame designs with a baseplate for mounting directly to the chassis and support low profile 1U applications with a height of 1.38”. Standard 12V / 24V / 48V output models are available with high efficiency operation up to 92% and optional 5V @ 1A and 12V @1A auxiliary outputs. These power supplies carry both Medical approvals (ANSI/AAMI ES/EN60601-1) for 2 x MOPP Applications and ITE approvals (UL/EN60950-1). Cosel’s quality is unrivaled in the industry with a failure rate of less than 30ppm for AC/DC power supplies and warrants these products for 5 years.
