Experiencing little or no degradation in extreme hot and cold temperatures, Structural Thermoset 2350 is hybrid polyester/urethane-based sheet molding compound (SMC) with notched izod impact strength of 40-60 ft-lb/in. Fiber-reinforced composite material has tensile strength of 25-35,000 psi and specific gravity of 1.75-2.00 g/cm³. Uses include protective barriers in transportation, housings for medical devices, safety helmets, and other protective products for government and industry.
