New Stationary Compressor Combines Advanced Features with Proven Reliability
MICHIGAN CITY, IN - For those who are seeking today's most advanced features in a superior package design, Sullair Corporation is pleased to introduce its LS-20 Series Stationary Air Compressor. The LS-20, a 100 HP rotary screw compressor, features a state-of-the-art compressor controller, and an optional energy saving spiral valve that will dramatically reduce operating costs. Fluid lubricated and cooled, the LS-20 is available in four models, from 344 to 490 acfm and pressure ratings of 100 to 175 psig.
The LS-20 compressor uses a single-stage rotary screw air end, featuring Sullair's rugged bearing design: tapered roller bearings on the discharge end and cylindrical roller bearings on the inlet, for high load carrying capacity. Components of every Sullair compressor have been carefully selected to assure complete reliability.
The Sullair LS-20 offers one of the most impressive lists of features and options in its class. Standard features include highly efficient multi-stage air/fluid separation, flange-mounted motor and air end, and heavy-duty air inlet filter with aircraft-quality fiberglass filter. A state-of-the-art computer-compatible microprocessor control, which monitors and controls essential functions, is standard. Optional features of the LS-20 include Sullair's unique capacity control system, which consists of a spiral valve and an inlet butterfly valve. The system delivers greatly improved part-load performance, especially when compared with compressors having suction throttling or load/no load controls. By matching compressor displacement with output need, this energy-saving system uses up to 17% less power. Other options include sound attenuating enclosure, solid state starter, heat recovery system and cold weather package.
Standard models of the LS-20 compressor are factory-filled with Sullair's long-life, biodegradable Sullube(TM) fluid which provides a 5-year warranty on the air end, motor, air/fluid receiver and coolers. Sullair's optional 24KT(TM) compressor fluid carries a 10-year warranty on the air end, and 5-year warranty on the motor, air/fluid receiver and coolers.
