Available in both bare wire and covered form, Arcos 307 electrodes provide crack resistance when producing moderate strength welds between dissimilar steels, such as austenitic manganese steel and carbon steel. They come in 2, 3, 4, and 6 dia. sizes, and 1/8, ¼, and ½ in. thickness. Units are suited for welding automotive exhaust systems and armor plates.

Arcos Stainless Steel Electrodes Resist Cracking
Mount Carmel, PA - Arcos Industries, LLC offers two stainless steel electrodes that are specially designed to provide good crack resistance when welding dissimilar steels.
The bare wire and covered Arcos 307 electrodes are utilized primarily for moderate strength welds between dissimilar steels such as austenitic manganese steel and carbon steel. These electrodes are well suited for welding automotive exhaust systems as well as armor plate.
Arcos 307 bare wire electrodes are available in diameters from .035"- 3/16", the covered wires from 3/32"- 3/16".
