New, Readily Available SV SprayDry® Nozzles

Wheaton, IL, USA - Spraying Systems Co. introduces its new SV Series SprayDry nozzles which are ideal for use in the production of dairy products, nutraceuticals, powdered beverages, detergents and food. The nozzles offer comparable performance to other more costly swirlchamber-style nozzles and are available for delivery in less than two weeks.

The SV SprayDry nozzles produce a hollow cone spray with uniform drop size distribution. To extend production runs, the nozzles are designed to resist clogging and constructed of a special tungsten carbide material that offers better wear resistance than competitive nozzles.

Assembly and disassembly of the SV nozzles are quick and easy and will reduce maintenance time. All components are securely retained in the cap for quick and easy handling in the dryer. Hand-tight design eliminates the need for special tools.
More than 700 swirlchamber and orifice combinations are available enabling users to match performance to their exact requirements. Flow rates range from 15.6 to 968 gph at 1000 psi (59.7 to 3692 lph at 70 bar). Spray angles range from 55° to 90°. Free validation samples are available upon request to qualified users.

Tim Oberg, Director, Spraying Systems Co. discusses the introduction of the new SV SprayDry line: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I4Gir4F9miI

Spraying Systems Co. has the broadest selection of nozzles available for spray drying and includes core and whirlchamber designs in addition to the new swirlchamber design.

Spraying Systems Co. is the global leader in spray technology. Spray nozzles, turnkey spray systems, custom fabrication and research/testing services comprise the company's offering. Spraying Systems Co. has ten manufacturing centers and more than 90 sales offices around the world.
