October 6, 2008 - Made out of 1018 cold roll steel, specialized tooling helps ensure jobs are done correctly and efficiently for Model CS-1 gyratory sifter. Tools include T27 for tightening/removing bearing adapter to upper spindle and T4 for pressing bushing (No. 44) in/out of knuckle casting. T24 Upper Bearing 3-Pronged Press can remove upper bearing off of upper spindle, while T48 Shim Tool levels sifter base to properly attach stabilizer assemblies to spider base and X-frame.

Sifter Parts & Service, Inc., Wesley Chapel, FL, now offers specialized tooling for the Model CS-1 gyratory sifter. Using the correct tooling will save your maintenance team time and help to prevent damage to the CS-1 parts during disassembly. The tools help to ensure the job is done correctly and efficiently. We now offer the following tools:

Part Description               Part Number      Description of Use
Bearing Adapter Tightener      T27              Tighten or remove the bearing adapter
                                                to the upper spindle
Bushing & Knuckle Tool         T4               Press the bushing (#44) in or
(2) pcs                                         out of the knuckle casting

Upper Bearing 3-pronged Press T24 Remove the upper bearing off of the upper spindle Shim Tool T48 Level the sifter base to properly attache the stabilizer assemblies to the spider base & X-frame

All tooling is made out of 1018 cold roll steel and will provide years of service for your CS-1 sifter. Heat treating options are available upon request.
