With nominal power of 145 W and peak power of 270 W, Model HD 4700 soldering station is designed to solder intensively on multiple layer boards and on parts requiring high amount of heat. It offers temperature range of 90-500°C and features sleep system and hibernation mode that reduce tip oxidation when iron is not in use. Other features include password protection, temperature limits, and usage counters.

August 24, 2006; Cary, IL. JBC Tools USA, Inc. announces the availability of a new soldering station the HD 4700. With a nominal power of 145W and a peak power of 270W), it is specifically designed to solder intensively on multiple layer boards and on parts requiring high amount of heat.
Offering a temperature range of 90-500°C (194-932°F) the temperature on the tip controlled by a microprocessor through the heating / sensor element integrated to the tip itself.
It features a sleep system and hibernation mode that considerably reduce tip oxidation when the iron is not in use. It also has other basic advantages featured in the rest of our Advanced stations, like password protection, temperature limits, usage counters and a 4 year warranty. The HD 4700 also offers high reliability in some special intensive applications, like solar panel production, and RF industry among others.
